Buying A Telescope For Christmas?
Many of you may be thinking of buying a telescope this Christmas. If this is your first venture into telescopes, this brief video will show you what to look out for and what to avoid when purchasing your first scope. (I am pleased to say that all my latest videos now can be played with subtitles)
I recently came across a series of videos on You Tube posted by a Noah, a young astronomer in the states. In this video he demonstrates the power of his new telescope but in doing so gives a very good explanation of the concept of focal length!
